The negotiation was held as a preliminary meeting to improve the cooperation between Marmara University and Shanghai International Research University.  At the visit,  it has arrived a consensus about conducting scientific studies and research projects together and getting more practice in the procedures which are necessary for academic staff and student exchange within the scope of the cooperation between two universities. According to the decision taken during the interview,  in the new year, a delegation of senior managers and academic staff from Shanghai International Research University will visit Marmara University and take concrete steps in cooperation.

During the visit of Zhiqiang Zou, General Coordinator of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office Prof.Dr. Nuri Tinaz was also present. International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office has begun to take the necessary steps for the realization of the cooperation.
