A Literature Event was organized within the framework of the cooperation of Marmara University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of German Language and Literature and the Swiss Consulate.

Swiss writer Jonas Lüscher's book published in 2013 was discussed at the event held in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Conference Hall on March 17, 2022 with the participation of Deputy Consul General Roland Brun. During the event, a reading was made from the author's book, which received various awards, notably the Franz-Hessel and Hans Fallada awards, and was translated into Turkish by Regaip Minareci, with the title of Frühling der Barbaren.

In the aforementioned novel, the author includes the events that a famous Swiss businessman named Preising lived during his trip to Tunisia. Preising and Saida, who are trying to go to a holiday village with the daughter of one of their partners on a business trip to Tunisia, attend a wedding there, events begin to develop after that.

The event, to which the students showed great interest, ended with the answers to the questions directed by the participants to the author.
