Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Deputy Minister Halis Yunus Ersöz, Rector of Marmara University Prof.Dr. Erol Özvar, General Director of Youth Services Emre Topoğlu, Education Research General Manager Mehmet Ata Öztürk, Sports Toto President Bünyamin Bozgeyik and a large number of guests participated in the press conference,held in Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center on March 22th.

Saying that ‘’ Volunteering is the pole of the society ‘’ Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Minister of Youth and Sports,  said that volunteering strategies were strengthening the culture of volunteering, more efficient use of technology, more effective regulation and risk management, strengthening of voluntary management and increasing education, strengthening relations between institutions, recognition and evaluation of  volunteerism. Minister Kasapoğlu stated that with these six basic studies, sustainable volunteering activities can be carried out.

Finally, referring to the objectives of the project, Kasapoğlu stated that the ultimate goal of all stakeholders, from public institutions to the private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), is their active participation in this process.
