Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Deputy and Chair of  the congress Prof. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel made an opening speech on the aim of organizing a project team, patent and valued added products in the theme “Added Value-Oriented Sharing Knowledge in Pharmacy”   with the belief of enlightening the vision of 2023.

Marmara University Rector and Honorary President of the Congress Prof. M. Emin Arat emphasized that Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy gives graduates having accreditation certificate to the sector of pharmacy, hospitals, medication and drug warehouse since 1963 and changing the location of the faculty to Başıbüyük Health Campus will enhance the criteria on innovation and the prestige of the university with AR-GE labs in the new building to be instructed.

Turkish Academy of Sciences member, member of the Executive Board of Health Institutes of Turkey and Head of Department of Yeditepe University Genetics and Bioengineering Prof. Fikrettin Şahin also made a speech.

The ceremony also covered fields such like basic and vocational sciences, technology and biotechnology, industry and clinical pharmacy. Poster session in which Students’ thesis were presented also took place in the 1st National Marmara Pharmacy Congress held with the supported of Marmara University Scientific Research Project Unit.
