The ceremony began with the opening speech of Dean Prof. Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel, who informed the participants about the education and academic activities, congress and symposiums, staj, Erasmus, Student Club events, the individual and institutional awards received by faculty of pharmacy, which became accredited by ECZAKDER in 2005 and was ranked as the second  among pharmacy faculties  in the placements of OSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) for many years, and shared the details of the new building that are still under construction in  Başıbüyük Campus. After the speech of Küçükgüzel, Istanbul Chamber of Pharmacist General Secreter Pharm. Serdar Göksan, TEKB Chairman of the Board Pharm. Sait Yücel, M.U. Alumni Association of Faculty of Pharmacy Vice- President Dr. Lect. Sevgi Karakuş, Former Minister of Health and Chairman of SURDER Pharm. Kazım Dinç and Vice- Rector Prof.Dr. Mustafa Çelen made their speech. The ceremony was also participated by the President of ECZAKDER Prof. Sevim Rollas, Advisory Board Member of Pharmacy Faculty Prof. Dr. Güler Yalçın and Istanbul Chamber of Pharmacists Member of Boards  Pharm. Zehra Zeynep Ayna.
