13th Special Athletes Athletics Festival was held at  Marmara University Sports Academy Campus in cooperation with  Üsküdar Municipality, İstanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, Istanbul Youth Sports Directorate and Marmara University. The event was attended by the Mayor of Uskudar Hilmi Turkmen, Marmara University Dean of  Sports Sciences Professor Salih Pınar, Provincial Directorate of National Education, Branch Director of Special Education and Guidance Services Ömer Avcı. Hosted by the Faculty of Sport Sciences, the event was held on May 2-2, 2019 with the participation of nearly 2000  special children in 6 groups including vision, hearing, mental and physical disability, down syndrome and autism. The opening program and various activities were organized on the first day. The second day continued with competitions in different categories. As a result of non-losing races, all our athletes were rewarded with medals.
