The conference entitled “Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and Liberty War” was held in Sultanahmet Campus Ord. Prof. Nihad Sayar Conference Hall.
Vice Rector Prof. Recep Bozlağan and Hungarian Consulate General in Istanbul Balazs Hendrich made opening speeches. After the opening speech, Marmara University Public Administration (French) Politics and Social Sciences Program doctoral student Osman Nihat Bisgin was represented an award.
Those attended the panel under the tutelage of Turkish-Hungarian Friendship Association Istanbul Branch Chair Dr. Erdal Şalikoğlu as follows: Trakya University Faculty or Arts and Sciences Department of History doctoral student Fatma Çalik, Istanbul University Faculty of Department of Political Sciences and International Relations academician Assoc. Prof. Ateş Uslu, Istanbul University Faculty of Economics Department of Political Sciences and International Relations Prof. S. Burak Gülboy and Head of Marmara University Department of Public Administration (French) Prof. Ömer Faruk Gençkaya. Causes and effects of Hungarian Revolution was discussed in the panel. The program ended with a cocktail party after the photo shoot.
