Within the scope of the agreement between MITTO and METRIC, joint doctoral and undergraduate thesis studies will be carried out on R & D subjects; university academicians will work on scientific, technological and technical developments. In addition to the training and seminar projects, R & D centers will be provided with the opportunity to collaborate and students in our university will be provided with the opportunity of academic work within METRIC. Strategies to ensure competitive advantage in national and international markets will be determined and joint efforts will be made to make the dreams come true.
Our Vice Rector Mehmet Akalın PhD said ‘’Our target in the business association contracts we have signed with the companies is to transform common products into patents and commercialize them together with our academicians who work in the work areas that the center needs.In our university, a university-industry association approach that focuses on the problems of the industry has been adopted; and close co-operation in the preparation of master's and doctoral dissertations. In addition, the need for all kinds of education and training for the development of the R & D Center, especially human resources, can be designed and carried out by our university under the name of institution academicians.
