The project titled “Optimization of the A (High-Speed Activated Sludge) – B (Anammox) Process through Holistic (Integrated) Use of Process Control, Modeling, and Molecular Measurement Tools for Maximum Resource Recovery,” led by Prof. Dr. Bilge Alpaslan Kocamemi from the Department of Environmental Engineering at Marmara University, has been granted support under the TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program. The project includes Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Erken, Prof. Dr. Ebru Toksoy Öner from the Department of Bioengineering, Prof. Dr. Güçlü İnsel from Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Environmental Engineering, and Dr. Faculty Member Halil Kurt from the Health Sciences University Medical Biology Department as researchers.
