The opening meeting of the "Added Value with Innovative Production: YAY-YÜKA Platform Project", supported by the Istanbul Development Agency within the scope of the Istanbul Financial Support Program, was held on March 3, 2022, at the Marmara University Engineering Faculty Conference Hall.

The opening speech of the project, which was initiated to support Istanbul industrial enterprises to produce high added value with advanced technology and information-oriented production activities, was made by  Vice-Rector of Marmara University and Dean of Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Ömer Akgiray.  Emphasizing that the project will be effective and important and talking about the preparation phase of the project and its future goals, Akgiray said, "I believe that our project will be a quality work for Istanbul and Turkey thanks to the multi-collaboration". Prof. Dr. Ahu Altınkut Uncuoğlu from the Faculty of Engineering, as a coordinator of the project,  made a presentation about the content of the project. Talking  about the importance of training business representatives, Uncuoğlu said, "I believe that these studies should be carried out  for businesses with high added value."

After the meeting, a workshop was held with the participants who attended the project.
