SINEMATEK Spirit in Marmara

The event of  “SINEMATEK meets with Marmara” was held in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Acibadem Campus.  Jak Şalom, who  spoke for the re-opening of the SINEMATEK Association, which was established in 1965 and closed for a while, under the umbrella of Kadıköy Municipality, was accompanied by the instructor of the Department of Film Design. It was mentioned that, in digitalized world, the effect of the directing of young people on cinema.

Jak Shalom said students that volunteer youth is needed to work at SINEMATEK and they would support them voluntarily. He also indicated that he admired the questions posed by our students.

SINEMATEK, which has the purpose of organizing panels, seminars, workshops and cinema lessons besides accompanying the film readings in collaboration with the Film and Media Design Workshop Club, will open its doors to all film makers and movie lovers and  host their activities when it will become active in the coming months.
