The third week of the School of Politics and Diplomacy that was organized by the Career Center (MARKAM) for the third time was held on 11th December, with the participation of Hikmet Çetin, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The program was attended by the Vice-Rector Prof.Dr. Ömer Akgiray, Deputy Secretary-General Danyal Çakıral, students, academic and administrative staff. Hikmet Çetin, 21st Term President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and 30th term Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the first lesson of the two-course program and made a speech titled “Past and Present of Turkish Political History”. In his speech, Çetin emphasized the importance of the decisions taken to protect the country's interests in the diplomatic relations and political connections with countries in the region based on its geopolitical position. In the second lesson of the program, Lecturer Dr. Furkan Kaya made a presentation on Eastern Mediterranean Security and the Cyprus Issue.
The third week of the School of Politics and Diplomacy ended with the presentation of plaques to the speakers after answering the questions of the participants.
