Eurasian Higher Education Summit-EURIE, which has an important place in world higher education, was held on 2-4 March 2022 in a hybrid format due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The summit, which was held for the seventh time this year, was attended by the world's most distinguished universities, academics and leading representatives of higher education from America to Pakistan. Within the scope of the EURIE Higher Education Conference and Fair, as well as online sessions, face-to-face panels and different events that continued for three days were hosted by another university every day.
Marmara University hosted EURIE 2022 on Thursday, 3rd March at Dr. İbrahim Üzümcü Conference Hall. Following the Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office Prof. Dr. Nuri Tınaz's opening speech on behalf of Marmara University and his presentation, a more interactive environment was provided by leaving the chair to many visitors from all over the world. On the second day of the 7th Eurasian Higher Education Summit that was hosted by Marmara University, "Refugees' Access to Higher Education" and "New Generation University Perspective and Digitalization of Hybrid Learning" were discussed by academics who are experts in their fields.
