Kanope Club, which is carrying out the activities aiming to respond to needs relating to blood and organ donation and encourage people to donate more, opened a stand under the roof of the Kadıköy Health Festival held in Göztepe Liberty Park.

The World Health Day is celebrated every year on 7 April by the member states of  the World Health Organization. Marmara University’s Kanope Club took part in the Kadıköy Health Festival, together with NGO’s, trade associations and public institutions.

The  activities such as  yoga, breath therapy, laughter therapy, dance performances, healthy nutrition seminar, violin recital, face painting for children were held within the scope of festival.

Kanope, a blood and organ donation club of Marmara University, is one and only club in Turkey which gathers donations for blood and organ under the same roof.  The club was registered by the Turkish Patent Institute because it is one and unique in this field.
