Extended Coordination Meeting 2021 Was Held

Marmara University Extended Coordination Meeting was held on 29 December at  İbrahim Üzümcü Conference Hall. The meeting attended by the administrative managers of the university was hosted by the General Secretary Lect. Dr. Murat Arısal. The meeting was also attended by  Deputy Secretary-General Fatma Şengül and Hasan Şahin, heads of departments and administrative managers.

Lecturer Dr. Murat Arısal talked about the studies that the university carried out in one year and that it targets for the next year. Expressing his happiness that Marmara University has been chosen as a "Research University", Arısal shared information about the completed Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Complex First Stage project.

In his speech, Arısal stated that the construction of the Dining Hall, Library and Outdoor Sports Facilities have started in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Complex and that the construction of a student dormitory for 4000 people has begun on a 60-decare land in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Complex, Maltepe. He also shared the information that a student dormitory for 1260 people has been put into service in Mehmet Genç Kulliye and that the Vocational School building in Göztepe Campus will be converted into a dormitory.

Sharing information about the current status of the number of new staff and students joining the university in his presentation, Arısal conveyed his evaluations about the steps taken towards digitalization and the in-service training activities of the university. In addition to these positive developments, he shared his thoughts on activities that can be carried out to keep the memories of our employees who passed away in the last year alive.

The meeting, where the expectations from the administrative units of the university were discussed in 2022, ended after the question and answer session.
