Before the marathon, students under the presidency of Assist. Assoc. Prof. Nuran Akyurt attend training and education program held in National Olympic Village and they were presented accreditation certificates in order to take charge in contests.

Marmara University students taking place in 38th Vodafone Istanbul Marathon Organization performed a task in Public Running, Healthcare Booth and 15th and 42nd Finish lines.
