Invited speakers addressing the "open school" and "pedagogue" practice in Denmark, showed in their presentations that there is a special tradition different from teachers and social workers, called pedagogues, working in Denmark, and that pedagogues are trained and aimed children to be free and conscious individuals. Besides, pedagogues have been working on extracurricular activities in early childhood with working in different institutes. The seminar underlined that forest schools and outdoor schools in Denmark constituted the bulk of pedagogical work with children and that the school as a part of the pedagogical approach to open school meant the opening to the community  and that a holistic approach was created on this account that would benefit the neighborhood as well as the children.
