Awards of “Carpet Design Competition” executed  for the eighth time by Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association were given to the owners with the ceremony which was held on  the night of November, 11  for the aim to invest in the future and to give oppurtunity to the new talents in our country. The first three collocation was shared by our students in the competition.

Büşra BALOTA who is  postgradute  student in Weaving  Design Department of M.U. was the first of the competition, which makes a contribution to the developing of the carpet art and brightens  the sector;  Nilüfer Ünay ÇUBUKÇU who is the student in Weaving Art of Textile Department  came in second and Şükrü BURHANLI who is the student  in Tradition Arts Department  came in third in that competition.
