The 3rd Summer Seminars that was organised two times before in İzmir by Izmir French Teachers Association was held in Marmara University between the dates of 22 and 26 June 2015. The event hosted by our university started with the concert given by lecturers and students of Music Teaching Department of Ataturk Faculty of Education.
The opening speech of seminar was made by France’s Ambassador to Turkey Laurent Bili and Marmara University Rector Prof.Dr. M. Emin ARAT.
Head of Istanbul Association Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gümüş made a speech in behalf of Associations for Teachers of French in Ankara, İstanbul and İzmir and after that the Programme for Summer Seminar was introduced. In pursuit of the conference given by Stephane Lopez, Responsible for Foreign Relations in International Francophone Organization, the guests participated in the opening coctail.
The summer seminars being the international events are organised for all French Teachers both in Turkey and around the world. Thus, our students is taking the oppurtunity to meet the Turkish and foreign instructors and exchange the ideas on professional issues. Over 150 French teachers participate in our training programme including various workshops. The effective using of the new techniques and technologies of French education constitutes the principle thema of the event.
18 workshop included in this event is carried out by academicians and specialists who are worldwide known in the field of French Language and Literature, valuable and well supported.
