The opening speech of the symposium was made by the Head of Department of the Arts and Sciences Faculty Prof. Dr. Süleyman Beyoğlu, Director of Turkic Studies Institute Prof. Dr. Okan Yeşilot, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences  Prof. Dr. Sebahat Deniz and our Rector Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar. After the opening speeches, it was held four session whose titles are as follows: “Road to Armistice and Mondros Armistice”, “Execution of the Mondros Armistice”,  “The Armistice and Developments in Abroad” and “Political and Social Developments after the Mondros Armistice”.
