In his speech, Prof. Dr. Kentel, who has been studying in the field of modernity, daily life, new social movements, religion, Islamic movements and ethnic communities, laid emphasis on the construction of the communities in daily life.
Emphasizing that communities are built on common emotions, bodily habits, collective memory and recall practices, Kertel analyzed the practices of daily life with a point of Foucaultian perspective. He stressed that daily life practices are not only in the form of acceptance, but also in the form of micro-resistances that seek to exist at different levels.
At the end of the interview, Prof.Dr. Dr. Ferhat Kentel shared the case examples he found in his own studies.
