At the event,held in the Haydarpaşa Campus university students who were trained in different fields of health and went to hospital trainees were informed on usage of  X rays for diagnosis and treatment,  protecting the safety of patients and health workers from harmful effects of radiation and importance of ALARA principles. In the event, warning signs containing radiation protection rules and t-shirts designed by students were used.

In 1895 Professor Wilhelm Conrad of the University of Würzburg discovered a glow that could not be created by any lamp on the wall during the x-ray experiment and gave it the name of X-ray and put his wife’s hand on a photo plate, invented the world's first rontgen via x-ray and won the Nobel Prize.
