Professor of Thoracic Surgery Dr. Hasan Fevzi Batırel who is a professional in the field of thoracic surgery gave an interview to AA regarding the works he has been doing in Skopje. In the interview, he said that he performed lung, esophagus and cancer surgeries and patients who underwent these surgeries recovered quicker.

Professor Dr. Hasan Fevzi Batırel said that he had been visiting the country on two days of the year for about a year and during these visits, he had been giving lectures to the personnel there.

He said that he has performed 40 surgeries so far but his main objective in going to Skopje is to give valuable lectures and raise fully competent doctors and surgeons. Batırel has stated his advancements in this field with the following statement: “There is a really young, dynamic and exciting team here; I'm gradually teaching those friends about the surgeries. They have learned a great deal about closed surgeries and they are rapidly understanding the basic movements and how to approach the tissues.”
