The awards of the ““Green Screen” Short Film Contest which was held in order to gain environmental awareness for the university youth were given to the owners. After pre-selection of 30 films that competed in the contest which organised by The Foundaiton for the Protection of the Environment of Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning, and was participated by 125 films, the films aforesaid appeared before the jury including of the artists such as Türkan Şoray, Hülya Koçyiğit, Ediz Hun and Cihan Ünal.

In the award ceremony which held in Haliç Congress Center, the film named “Kafes” that was prepared by university studens whose names are Elif Çakmak, Hilal Oz, Ozlem Tanrıverdi was awarded first prize. Our university students took their awards from İdris Güllüce, the Minister of Environment and Urban Planning.

 

 

Also,  the short film named “Buradayım”  prepared by our university students whose name are Utku Durmaçavuş, Fatih Ünal and Murat Kabakçı won the Honorable Mention Award.
