Marmara University Rowing Team won 2 gold and 1 silver medals in the 12th European Universities Rowing Championship organized by the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

At the championship held in Istanbul, Golden Horn on September 7-9, including 72 university teams from 16 countries, Enes Gök, one of our university's team, became the European champion in the Men's Singles event while  Mert Avunduk, Enes Gök, Serkan Erkal and Ulaş Kurt became the European Champion and the gold medalist in the Four Doubles category. Aydın İnanç Şahin and Kaan Yılmaz Aydın took second place in the European Championship with their  silver medal . Marmara University rowing team athletes made a great contribution to Turkey's second place in the country ranking with the medals they won.
