Two studies, which Prof. Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel, Dean of Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy, holds their patents,  have been accepted by the Turkish Patent Institute as an "Examined National Patent ".

The study titled “Etodolac Thioether Compounds” numbered   TR 2016/11217 which Marmara University (30%) and Prof.Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel holds its patent and the study titled “Compounds with a Quorum Sensing (Environment Detection System) Inhibitor Activity” with Turkish Patent application numbered TR 2015/00480 which Prof. Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel holds its patent and Inst. Dr. Sevil Şenkardeş, Prof. Dr. Gülgün Tınaz and Assoc.Prof. Seyhan Ulusoy are its inventors, have been accepted as an "Examined National Patent".
