The seminar that was attended  by a speaker  from Sheffield University Dr. Mohammed Shbeh and lecturers from the Department of  Metallurgical and Materials Engineering began with the opening speech of Dr. Recep Artır, Head of Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.  Dr. Mohammed Shbeh gave information about the biomedical applications of titanium and his studies about it in the seminar.
