The team including Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences was eligible to attend the international competition to which the 64 robot with a degree in Japan and the only champion robots in the world was able to participate. Emre TARHANA, Kaan EROĞLU, Lütfi ALBAYRAK and Doğukan Cemil ÖZEREN, who are students of Vocational School of Technical Sciences and participated in 26th Robot Tournament entitled ”International All Japan Sumo Robot Tournament 2014” that annual organised by the Fujisoft company in Japan, placed fourth in tournament.
The robot named Senju who advanced to the semi- final and presented our university in the tournament competed with the robot that had became champion for the last three year in Japan and came in fourth place because it had lost 1-0 in the competition due to the problem with the battery.
