Following the 2018 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) held by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), our university organized Preference and Presentation Days for candidate students on August 6-7-8. During the Preference and Promotion Days held at Göztepe Campus Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Sports Hall, academic staff assigned by faculties, colleges and vocational schools informed students and parents about our departments and our university. On the first day of Preferences and Presentation Days, the Rector of our university  Prof. Erol Özvar PhD, Vice Rectors Prof.Mustafa Çelen PhD and Prof. Mustafa Kurt PhD were also present. Rector Özvar, who wandered the stands, chatted with candidate students and parents. Üsküdar Mayor Hilmi Turkmen also participated in the event and received information about the departments and the students who visited the Preference Days.
