Marmara University was ranked 40th in the  “2016 Ranking of  TUBITAK Entrepreneurial  and Innovative University Index (TEIUI)” in which Turkey’s most entrepreneur  and innovative universities are listed.

In the ranking of the index that are announced every year since 2012, the universities has been evaluated according to the following fields: 

• Scientific and Technological Research Competency
• Intellectual Property Pool
• Cooperation and Interaction
• Entrepreneurship  and Innovation Culture
• Economic Contributions and Commercialization
