Marmara University participated in the Association of International Educators (NAFSA) Annual Conference & Expo, which was held for the 75th time this year between May 30 and June 2, 2023, and is known as the world’s biggest international higher education summit.
At the conference themed "Inspiring an Inclusive Future" held in Washington DC, the capital of the United States (USA), Marmara University was represented by Secretary General Dr. Murat Arısal, Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office Prof. Dr. Nuri Tınaz, Assistant Office Director Dr. H. Gökçen Öcal Özkaya, Dr. Mert Denizci and Instructor Gülden Bulut.
Marmara University delegation, who had the opportunity to meet with Higher Education institutions from various countries of the world, reached a consensus on signing new agreements, establishing bilateral cooperation and expanding the scope of existing agreements.
Marmara University delegation also attended the reception given by the Washington Ambassador Hasan Murat Mercan in honor of Turkish and American Universities and later hosted the Ambassador at the “Study in Turkey” stand.
While Marmara University strengthened its relations with the members of the partner universities by increasing its visibility, it also found opportunities to sign new agreements.
