Marmara University, which was among the top two and three performance indicators in which the internationalization dimension was evaluated in the 2021 University Monitoring and Evaluation Report published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), was among the top 5 in terms of education, service to society and social responsibility.
Marmara University ranked 2nd among the universities with the highest number of students participating in international exchange programs. Within the scope of programs such as Erasmus and Mevlana, 578 students participated in the international exchange program.
Marmara University, with its a total of 59 foreign nationals, ranked 3rd among the universities with the highest number of foreign national teaching staff with doctorate degrees.
It also took place among the top 5 universities with the highest number of students graduating from doctoral programs. Marmara University, which achieved success in the performance criterion, which evaluates the education and training dimension and aims to measure the education and training outputs, gave 268 graduates from doctoral programs.
It was among the top 5 universities among the universities with the highest number of programs in the top 5% in KPSS, another evaluation criterion for the education dimension. Marmara University's 25 programs were in the top 5% of PPSE( Public Personel Selection Exam)
Marmara University was among the top 5 universities with the highest number of programs in the top 5% in ALES, another indicator of the education dimension. 21 programs of Marmara University entered the top 5% of ALES.
Marmara University was among the top 5 universities among universities with the highest number of awards in the field of zero waste, green campus and environmentalism, which is one of the criteria by which community service and social responsibility projects are evaluated. Marmara University has 6 awards in this field.
