Informing presentations were made and ideas on continuing projects and studies in our faculty were exchanged as a part of the program. 

Presentations were made by Head of Industry Engineering Department Prof. B. Gültekin Çetiner, Academician of Mechatronics Engineering Department Assoc. Prof. Erkan Kaplanoğlu and Operation and Work Enchanting Expert of FESTO Didactic Industrial Academy Hakan Eminçe.

As it is known, First Industry Revolution (1.0) emerged with using water and steam power. In the Second Industry Revolution (2.0), industrial mass production was started with the usage of electricity.  In the Third Industry Revolution, namely Digital Revolution, the production was automatized with the usage of electronics and the development of information technologies.  Forth Industry Revolution (0.4) is only defined that it is the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies including cyber-physical systems things and cloud computing.  It is aimed to create a Turkish Industry which takes more shares from global production value chains and to provide continuity in the advantages of competitive power in the event. 

In this direction, first steps were taken in order to organize a Working Group consisting academicians willing to take charge in activities based on projects and to represent our university in Industry 0.4 platforms, in the “Industry 0.4 Informing and Strategy Date.  Academicians were expected to make a contact with MITTO in order to get informed about such projects in the next days.
