Did I Really Die ?

Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Ali Köse made an opening speech of the symposium that aims to give  true informations regarding to organ transplantation.  In his speech, Köse said "Organ transplantation is not  a question for muslim communities and also those who are from western and other geographies including different religions. Sometimes, peoples stand against it due to reasons without religion. There are a lot of question in this question such as " What our religion really says about it, what medicine says, what is donor?".  We want our students to have knowledge about it because they may be faced with this issue. This program aims only to give information about it, so it is not organized to impose something on peoples." 

Director of Organ Transplantation Center Prof. Dr. Ayhan Dinçkan, Lecturer of the Department of  Cardiovascular Surgery Assoc.Prof. Mehmet Balkanay and Surgeon Oğuz Konukoğlu participated in the symposium as speaker about the medical dimensions of the organ transplantation. To give information about aspect of religion, Former Member of High Board of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Saim Yeren, Chair of the Department of Islamic Law Prof. Dr. Hasan Hacak and  Lecturer of  Department of Islamic Law Prof. Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan took place in that symposium.
