"Brain Awareness Week" event was held in Prof. Dr. Ayla Oktay Pre School Education Unit with the cooperations of  Assoc. Prof. Meral Yüksel, lecturer of Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques  of the Vocational School of Health Sciences, and her students Tuğçe Yılmaz, Handan Özkılıç, Seren Turnalı and  Eda Taş. 

A worldwide events held by DANA Foundation every year were celebrated in our country with  the events that was held Turkish Brain Research and Neuroscience Society. 

In the "My Brain" events towards pre-school students, the functionalities of the brain, concepts about brain and defining of the sense organs and their funcitonalities, puzzle solving skills, painting, telling and sticking of mathematical operations were explained in practice. 

ın the end of the event, students were given their certiciate of attendance for Brain Awareness Week and colouring books and pencils.
