Autism Family Seminars organized in cooperation with the Disabled Student Unit Coordinator and TODEV, was held at the Marmara University Faculty of Science and Letters Conference Hall on November 29, 2022.

In the third of the that seminar with the  title “Does My Teacher Know About Autism?”,  the importance of recognizing autism by teachers and school management, and how to implement IEP for inclusion were discussed. In addition to these, the importance of the communication between the school and the family and what parents can request from the school administration for their children, information on how to proceed in terms of school management was discussed by Erenköy Girls' High School Principal Sociologist Berna Ocakçıoğlu and Special Education Specialist Barış Yıldız.

Many families were reached at the seminar thanks to the Marmara University Disabled Student Unit Coordinator and TODE,  and  with the contributions of the Session Chair, Lect. Dr. Oktay Taymaz Sarı.

The seminar ended with a photo shoot.
