Assoc. Prof. Hümeyra Özturan, a lecturer at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology,  won the Knowledge Spread Award in the Social Sciences category with her work titled "Ethostan Morality: The Transmission and Reception of Ancient Greek Moral Literature to the Islamic World".

The second of the Knowledge Spread  Awards, organized by the Knowledge Spread Foundation and the Knowledge Spread Society every two years,  was held at the Dolmabahçe Palace on 19 December 2021, with the participation of the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Assoc. Prof. Hümeyra Özturan, an owner of the 2021 TÜBA TESEP Award,  was presented her award by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop.
