Prepared  under the coordinatorship of Assoc. Prof. Cenk Sesal, the project titled “Akciğer Kanserinde İmmün Kontrol Noktası (Checkpoint) ile Çoğunluğu Algılama Sistemi (QS) Arasındaki Potansiyel İlişkinin Liken Sekonder Metabolitleriyle İnhibisyonun Araştırılması – Research of Inhibition of the Potential Relation Between Immune Checkpoint and Quorum Sensing System in the Lung Cancer Through Lichen Secondary Metabolites” was accepted as one of   five projects to be supported within fields of “Life Sciences, Materials (including nano materials), BIT (Big Data, Internet of Things, Software), Environment/ Energy (including renewable Energy) and Smart Cities, within the scope of bilateral cooperation programme between TÜBİTAK – NRF. The researchers who participated from Turkey were project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Cenk Sesal,  researchers Prof. Dr. Atıf Koca, Prof. Dr. Serdar Durdağı ( Bahçeşehir University), Dr. Birhan Açıkgöz, Dr. Özgür Doğan, Advisor Prof. Dr. Erdem Yeşilada(Yeditepe University), Advisor Assoc. Prof. Gülşah Özyiğitoğlu, Postdoctoral Scholar Dr. Didem Berber and PhD candidate scholar Barış Gökalsın participated as researchers from Turkey while Assoc.Prof. Hangun Kim, Prof. Dr. Jae-Seoun Hur, Dr. Yi Yang, PhD Candidate So-Yeon Park and PhD Candidate İsa Taş participated from South Korea Sunchon University.
