At the event held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on October 20, 2021, in cooperation with Marmara University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of German Language and Literature and Austrian Culture Office, Austrian writer Franz Paul Horn read from his 400-page book published in 2019.

In the book, the story of three young people who are thirsty for adventure, their confrontation with themselves and their fears, and the adventure of getting to know themselves in this journey are mentioned.

Franz Paul Horn talked about his adventurous trip he took with two of his friends after his university graduation in 2015, which he included in his book “Über die Grenzen” (Beyond Borders), the people he met on this trip, the stories of different cultures and people belonging to these cultures.

The event, in which the students showed great interest, ended with the answers to the questions of the participants.
