Marmara University lecturer Assoc. Prof. Yaşar Tatar shared projects carried out together with the Fiziksel Engelliler Vakfı (Physically Disabled Foundation) in the Anadoluhisarı Campus and the Gaziantep City Hall.  Assoc. Prof. Tatar mentioned about the importance of primarily examination of disabled people and proper exercises in order to provide sustainability works of Sports Skills and Coordination.

Assoc. Prof. Sibel Cengizhan shared some findings on some important numbers in the uncompleted projects and how disabled and non-disabled people feel about each other. Istanbul University RA Ayşegül İşlekeller shared some facts shedding light about hearing impaired people in order to lead one of the agenda items.

In the meeting, spokespeople mentioned topics such like inclusive education on higher education and problems that students faced and also mentioned that these problem can be solved by organizing the education in inclusive schools. Lastly, participants shared the idea that a lesson entitled “Farklılıklarımızla İletişim (Communication with our Dissimilarities)” must be in the curriculum in order to overcome the discrimination in schools.
